VeloRevolution backed Team ASEA have success at the 2015 UCI International An Post RAS
Damien Shaw and Bryan McCrystal’s new Team ASEA have certainly left their mark on this years race with Shaws, two second and one third place on successive stages (which is unheard of folks to be so consistent) following McCrystal’s near win into Tipperary Town on the Monday stage when he led the race for over 100km only to be caught inside the last 10 when several teams went to the front to combine their efforts to catch him, on top of the days very under-rated but brutal Categorized climb which split the field into pieces. This team definitely showed that home based Irish Riders can compete in the An Post Ras against the foreign professional teams and it was the talk of the peleton and press for the week.
We are very happy to be involved with this Irish Racing Team and that they choose us for their clothing requirements, as they have only one aim and it is to be the best so both are objectives are the same.
The team were Damien Shaw, Bryan McCrystal, Roger Aiken, Ali McCauley and Roger Aiken supported by Brendan Grimes, Gary Morton, Alan Geoghan and the ever young looking Joe Fenlon.
