Our co-sponsored Strata3-VeloRevolution team perform well at RAS MUMHAN over Easter

Our co-sponsored Strata3-VeloRevolution team performed well over the weekend at one of Ireland’s toughest races, the International Ras Mumhan based in Kerry over 4 days at the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. Mark Dowling, our leading rider was Joint 4th overall 22seconds behind the winner from England who was Dillon Byrne from Team VCUK VeloChampion.

Stage 1 was 100km of hard undulating road.
Stage 2 was 130km of again hard undulating and open road in North Kerry and Limerick West.
Stage 3 was 155km with Catergory 1 Climbs of West Kerry including the coastline.
Stage 4 was 115km circuit race around Killorgin with again 9 times up the famous hill of Killorgin.

Mark finished 4th on Mondays Stage 4 along with Simon Ryan who placed 7th on the stage.
Mark was also 12th on Stage 3 and Simon placed 16th on Stage 1.

It was the teams first Stage Race of the season and a great build up to the UCI 2.2 An Post Ras up and coming in May. The team comprised of Stephen Murray, Mark Dowling, James Davenport, Simon Ryan, Bryan McCrystal and Michael Fitzgerald. (Pics: Brendan Slattery)
